PRINTplusX - The Secrets of Value Added Printing
PrintCity and the f:mp. introduce a joint project: PRINTplusX. The project aims at researching the capability and benefits of value-added printing. To achieve this, three virtual brands of lifestyle and electronics products were designed which are to be used as subjects in the testing process. The available options of value-added printing will be scrutinized and evaluated by study groups from different universities to strengthen the validity of the results. The PRINTplusX presentation at drupa 2008 was followed by a series of Workshops presenting the findings of the studies as well as sample media used, to the benefit of interested brand-owners, creatives, and the management of printing houses.
