UV printing - Best Practice Guide - New edition

Solvent-free inks, which harden when exposed to UV radiation are among the most significant recent innovations in the printing industry. Increasingly, they are being used in sheetfed offset printing to finish exclusive printed materials. The inks on foils and less absorbent modern paper with special surfaces are thus given an even more intense brilliance.

The participating project members have documented their experiences with UV printing from their own specialist areas—the manufacture of printing presses and paper, printing blankets, inks, varnishes and drying technology.

Exclusive printed materials with UV

The brochure "UV best practice guide" has given the industry a popular practical guideline for some years now. It is aimed at staff in printing companies and their suppliers who work with UV printing inks and varnishes and are trying to achieve the best possible quality for their products and top levels of productivity. Economic considerations have now been included in the current edition of the UV guide. Currently, the guide is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.

The UV Guide is published in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian and can be ordered at € 30,00 per copy.
